Fall's Chill
The Fall Season has started on a chilly note and we are expecting more below average temperatures in the coming week across our area. As we were sandwiched between the flow of a high pressure system to our west and Hurricane Fiona to our east, strong northerly winds gave us a fairly significant chill yesterday. Highs across the Twin Tiers remained in the 50s which were about 10 to 20 degrees below average.
A series of upper level troughs will filter into the region with cool Canadian air in the coming week. Our average high for this tine of the year ranges from 68 to 70 degrees. However, temperatures are likely to remain below the mid 60s throughout next week. Additionally, this weather system will keep conditions unsettled next week.
