A rainy start to week

After a long, extended stretch of dry and warm weather, we are finally getting some much-needed rain during the day Monday.
Rain moved in late Sunday night, and that will continue into Monday as an area of low-pressure moves through the region.
That low-pressure will set off showers and thunderstorms, allowing for the Twin Tiers to see upwards of an inch of fresh rain. Make sure you grab your umbrella, and raincoat before you head out the door.
Drier but warmer air returns for Tuesday.
