HAMMONDSPORT, N.Y. (WENY) - A Corning man has been arrested in connection to a police chase across county lines.

According to the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Semachiah McDuffie was arrested on July 7th.

The Sheriff's office says that McDuffie led police on a chase starting in Watkins Glen and ending in Hammondsport. After the chase, he was allegedly found to have fake money and a stun gun.

McDuffie was charged with Criminal possession of a forged instrument, Criminal possession of a weapon, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, aggravated unlicensed operator in the 2nd degree, Reckless driving, operating while registration suspended, and several Vehicle Traffic Law violations.
