After a couple of days feature seasonable and slightly below average temperatures, some major heat is on the way for the rest of the week.

Wednesday will just be the start, with average temperatures. But as we head into Thursday and Friday, an upper-level ridge will set-up, allowing for much warmer and moist air to push into the Twin Tiers, allowing for highs nearing the low-90s to even mid-90s. Dew points will be a factor as well, with readings into the mid-60s.

We will cool off as we head into the weekend as a cold front crosses, giving us a break from the heat.
