ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- An event happening next week aims to celebrate food and beverages crafted by local restaurants and producers.
Elmira's annual 'Taste of Downtown' event returns on Thursday, April 28th from 5:00 to 7:30PM at the Chemung Valley History Museum. The community is invited to enjoy taste-sized portions of dishes from local restaurants, as well as craft beers, wine and cocktails.
There will also be raffles, silent auction, wine and champagne pull, and live music by John Manfredi. Guests will also enjoy the ambiance of the Chemung Valley History Museum, while learning about downtown businesses and non-profits.
