Greek Peak Investing in Major Upgrades for 2022-23 Ski Season

UPDATE 7:20 PM -- The resort will also have a project for Chair 3. Chair 3 currently serves as the Alpha slope of the mountain.
It will be upgraded to a triple-chair to better serve the growing number of new skiers coming to the resort.
Combining this project with the previously announced $700,000 snow-making and new trail project, this brings the total investment to over $1.3 million for the upcoming season.
CORTLAND, N.Y. (WENY) - While the ski season here in the finger lakes region has come to an end, Greek Peak has some big changes planned for the 2022-23 season.
The resort has begun a $700,000 snow making upgrade and a new trail project. In total, over 9,000 feet of new water pipe and 5,000 feet of new air line will be installed ahead of the new ski season.
Also, brand new snow-making lines will be installed on three trails.
In addition to the snow-making upgrades, a brand-new family-style ski trail is being designed for the upcoming season.
As the largest ski resort in central New York, this will bring Greek Peak's ski trail total to fifty-six this coming season.
Wes Kryger, president of Greek Peak Mountain Resort, lauded the upgrades as a continued commitment by ownership to add to the exceptional ski experience Greek Peak offers its guests each year.
"Investments like these are significant and they're part of what has made Greek Peak a regional skiing destination for so many years," said Kryger. "Our focus continues to be on the mountain, the resort amenities, and the overall guest experience."
