ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) - The Tompkins County Public Library will be holding their 10th annual read-a-thon fundraising event which is set for May 7th.
After two years as a virtual event due to the pandemic, this year's read-a-thon will be hybrid, using both in-person and pre-recorded readers. The read-a-thon uses readers to raise funds for the library.
The goal for this year's event is $35,000 which will be used to purchase materials such as book, movies, music, and more.
