PA state police arrest Towanda man for attempted homicide

TOWANDA, P.A. (WENY) -- A man in Bradford County is facing charges of Criminal Attempted Homicide.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, following an incident that took place between 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 8th and Wednesday, February 9th at 6:00 am on Kingsley Hill Rd.
State police reported 26-year-old Jara Sanchez of Towanda allegedly physically assaulted a female causing her serious bodily injury.
The 45-year-old female victim's name was not released by police.
State police say Sanchez discharged a firearm multiple times inside the residence and narrowly missed the victim. In addition, police say he also threw a knife at her.
Sanchez was arraigned before a judge and sent to Bradford County Correctional facility as bail was denied.
