NY couple charged with using fake COVID-19 vaccine cards at Buffalo Bills Game
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WENY) -- A New York couple is facing charges after allegedly using fake COVID-19 vaccine cards to enter a Buffalo Bills Game.
During the third quarter of the Jan. 15 game, Amber and Michael Naab were questioned by authorities about the validity of their vaccination cards. An investigation ensued, and the two were arrested on Jan. 25.
The two were charged with second-degree felony criminal possession of a forged instrument.
According to authorities, the couple had previously mentioned doing the same thing at other games on their social media accounts.
The Naabs were arraigned Tuesday and pleaded not guilty. They are due back in court on Feb. 22.
