Dandy Mini Marts donates money to address hunger and food insecurity

SAYRE, P.A. (WENY) - Dandy Mini Marts is continuing to support local organizations fighting to end hunger and food insecurity.
The company recently provided gifts of $25,000 total to both the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
Dandy's $15,000 donation to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier funds the organization's "BackPack" program, which supports children who face food insecurity.
The company also donated $10,000 to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank's "ElderShare" program. This program provides a monthly box of food to seniors 60 and up who meet income requirements.
Together, these gifts amount to more than $100,000 meals for children and seniors in the Twin Tiers.
