BURDETT, NY (WENY) -- This week in wine country, sponsored by Finger Lakes Wine Country, we're visiting Two Goats Brewing in Schuyler County.

Two Goats Brewing is owned by Jon and Jess Rogers, who opened the brewery in 2010. They specialize in craft beer brewed in-house, served in an 1800's timber barn with a stunning view of Seneca Lake. They have eight regulars always on tap, in addition to seasonal and limited-time rotations. Customers can choose from pints, or flights of 4 to 8 sample pours.
The brewery also hosts live music most weekends, on their deck overlooking the lake. Inside, visitors will notice a peculiar site - hundreds of dollar bills pinned to the ceiling. But how do they get there? Jess tells WENY that customers will push a tack through a dollar bill, wrap the bill around a quarter and toss it upwards. The tack lodges into the timber ceiling, leaving the dollar bill high above the ground. Each year, the bills are collected and donated to a local charity; over $16,000 has been donated so far!
