CORNING, NY (WENY) -- This week in wine country, sponsored by Finger Lakes Wine Country, we're visiting the Corning Museum of Glass for their latest exhibition, Fire and Vine: The Story of Glass and Wine.

The exhibition chronicles the relationship between wine and glass, tracing the path of the grape from the vine to your wine glass. Visitors will be able to see a glass fragment from a cameo glass featuring a grape harvest, to a still-sealed wine bottle found in a shipwreck, to bottles and other artifacts from some of the region's most historic and pioneering wineries, such as Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery and Pleasant Valley Wine Company.
