K-9 helps nab suspect in Schuyler Co.

MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Schuyler County man wanted on a warrant was taken into custody Monday night after a Sheriff's Office K-9 helped make the arrest.
According to the Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Robert A. Stevens refused to surrender to deputies after a warrant was issued for his arrest. K-9 "Digit" found Stevens in an upstairs bathroom and apprehended him.
Stevens was sent to the Schuyler County Jail. His warrants stem from a grand jury indictment for allegedly selling narcotics. The Sheriff's Office says the investigation revealed that Stevens sold controlled substances to a confidential informant.
