Tops Friendly Markets kicking off annual Children's Miracle Network Hospitals campaign

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WENY) – Tops Friendly Markets is starting its annual campaign for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH).
The campaign will officially kick off on Sunday, June 20 at all participating Tops locations and will run through Saturday, July 3. Locally, the campaign will benefit Arnot Ogden Medical Center.
Customers can donate to the campaign by buying a $1 Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Balloon or round up their change while checking out. 100% of the proceeds will be donated back to participating hospitals.
Since 1983, CMNH has helped families pay for the cost of hospital care by raising $7 billion, most through the Miracle Balloon icon campaigns.
Over the past 14 years, Tops has raised $1,829,270 through the campaign.
“If this past year has taught us anything, it’s reinforced how vital our medical community is to the health and welfare of our community,” said John Persons, president, Tops Friendly Markets. “We are very thankful to all the front line workers that perform miracles every day in the respective hospitals. Now more than ever, they need our support to assist in having the necessary funds available to them to provide the proper care for our most valuable assets - our children."
The participating hospitals include:
- Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital
- Oishei Children's Hospital
- The University of Vermont Children's Hospital
- Arnot Ogden Medical Center

- Maria Fareri Children's Hospital
- Golisano Children's Hospital
