DUNDEE, NY (WENY) -- This week in wine country, sponsored by Finger Lakes Wine Country, WENY's Renata Stiehl and FLWC President Laury Ward visit Fulkerson Winery in Dundee, to learn about their inaugural 5K foot race.

The 'Will Run for Wine' Heritage 5K is a trail run, in partnership with Confluence Running in Corning. The race will be held on June 6th, on the trails through the winery's vineyard, forest and fields. There will be four waves of 50 runners per wave, with COVID-19 protocols in place. Waves will start at 10AM, 10:30AM, 11AM and 11:30AM. 

Registration is $45 and includes a mens or womens tank top and wine tumbler. Runners over age 21 can show their race bib for a free tasting after the race. Tasting reservations are required in advance, as seating is limited.
