Bath PD: $16K worth of crack found in apartment

BATH, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Steuben County man was arrested and sent to jail in connection to the largest crack bust to date in the Village of Bath, according to police.
Lawrence A. Rodgers was arrested on warrants for criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. The warrants for his arrest stemmed from alleged sales of crystal meth in 2019. He was arrested when he was stopped while driving, and crack and cash was allegedly found in his possession.
After his arrest, police say they got a search warrant and found $16,000 worth of crack in his apartment, along with cash and packaging materials. Rodgers was sent to the Steuben County Jail and awaits arraignment.
