If you've parked in Ithaca recently you may want to double check your phone security.

The popular pay by phone parking app that the city accepts, ParkMobile, has been hacked.

The company says they first became aware of the attack in late March finished their investigation into the incident just last week.

Representatives say hackers may have taken license plate numbers, email addresses, and phone numbers of users. According to ParkMobile, no credit card information or parking location history was ever accessed by hackers.

Officials still recommend all users change their passwords as soon as possible just in case.
