Warm temperatures and people spending time outdoors can impact COVID spread
(WENY) - It's been a beautiful week in the Twin Tiers weather wise. People have been seen taking advantage of the outdoors with the spring-like feels. High temperatures could impact the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the Boome County Health Department, viruses tend to spread slower when people are outdoors in the fresh air. There was a decrease in cases last summer. Health experts say that could happen again if the warm weather continues to encourage people to spend more time outside.
