Freezing Rain Likely Late Friday
Low pressure will approach from the south Friday with increasing clouds and eventually periods of freezing rain by late afternoon and early evening. Ice amounts will generally range from 0.1" to 0.2" with slippery conditions expected on untreated surfaces. The winds will also become gusty Friday night, which could lead to scattered power outages. Temperatures will approach 40 heading into Saturday morning...ending our icing threat.
