Bradley Dairy Farm Receives Honorable Mention from ADA

ATHENS, PA. (WENY) -- In honor of national farmers day, WENY News wanted to take time to highlight Bradley Dairy Farm in Athens Pennsylvania, who named as an honorable mention for community out reach by the American Dairy Association North East.
Bradley dairy farms was awarded $500 dollars to donate to a local food bank or school of their choice, to help provide dairy for either recipient. WENY News spoke with Mark Bradley, one of the partners of Bradley Dairy Farms, who said they chose to give the money to Tioga (N.Y.) Elementary School where his own children go and his wife works. Mark told WENY News, it was an honor to be selected and to give back to his community.
"The community supports us by buying dairy products and that sort of stuff so it really means a lot to be able to give back and it also means a lot to be able to give directly. To give back in a way that will directly benefit the kids," says Mark Bradley, Partner at Bradley Dairy Farms.
The money Bradley Dairy Farm donated to the elementary to provide equipment to keep dairy products fresh for transport during current hybrid learning models to ensure more students receive access to healthy, nourishing meals.
