ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WENY) -- A group of protesters says it will no longer occupy Rochester City Hall as part of its call for justice after the death of Daniel Prude.

According to WKBW, Free the People ROC claims they are "winning justice" in the weeks since the video of Prude's arrest was released.

New York Attorney General Tish James announced a new policy in which camera footage of alleged police brutality cases will be made public. Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and the City Police Department (RPD) have each been issued a subpoena as part of the investigation into Prude's death.

According to WHAM, attorneys are also looking for information on how RPD notified City Hall of the in-custody death of Richard Gregory in 2015, and the excessive force case involving Christopher Pate in 2015.

Protesters say they will plan other actions in the coming weeks.
