McDonald's holding hiring event at locations across New York State
(WENY) – On Wednesday, September 2, McDonald's restaurants across New York State are hosting a one-day hiring event.
Applicants can visit any restaurant in the state Wednesday to apply, or they can apply online at McDonalds.com/careers. You can also begin an application via text by texting 'mcdworksforme' to 36453. Applicants will receive a text message shortly after with a link to continue the application process.
Additionally, McDonald's employees can also be eligible for the Archways to Opportunity program. Now in its fifth year, employees can receive $2,500 in upfront college tuition assistance after they get their high school diploma. Workers are eligible after 90 days and 15 hours a week.
Other services are also available, including free education access, career advising services and learning English as a second language.
