Pennsylvania State Police search for subject in criminal homicide incident

LARKSVILLE, Pa. (WENY) -- Pennsylvania State Police are on the lookout for a subject they believe to be involved in a murder in Luzerne County, and officials say he could be in Bradford County.
According to a release, authorities say a white female was found dead at 195 Schrader Street in Larksville Borough, Pa., after a welfare check on August 13.
Police say an autopsy determined the woman was shot in the head, and the manner of death is homicide.
Troopers say Richard and Patricia Walski are residents of the home where the woman was found. They have a five-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever named Yukon.
Pennsylvania State Police are searching for Richard Walski, who is currently unable to be located, along with the dog.
Authorities say Walski is an avid fisherman, known to frequent numerous fishing locations along the Susquehanna River and the Finger Lakes. Police say he could be in the following areas:
- Fishing Creek Sportsman's Association in Benton, Columbia County
- Susquehanna River from the Wilkes Barre area to Towanda, Bradford County
- Cabin in Noxen Township, Wyoming County
- Oswego, N.Y.
- Hampton Harbor/Watertown area in N.Y.
- Genessee River in Rochester, N.Y.
