Cinnabon fundraiser aims to "sweeten the day" of essential delivery service workers

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- Cinnabon in the Arnot Mall is saying "thank you" to essential workers in the delivery service industry with some "sweet treats" and you can help in the process.
The store is holding a Facebook fundraiser, which has raised $640 with an overall goal of $930. Workers have been baking and packing up classic Cinnabon Rolls all day Thursday, which will be delivered to essential workers on Friday.
These include people working for the United State Postal Service, FEDEX and UPS and are meant to be a way to show appreciation for continuing to deliver mail and packages during the pandemic. Cinnabon hopes to deliver 200 sweet treats to essential workers on Friday.
