Gov. Cuomo vows to sue Rhode Island if the state continues to seek out New York license plates
(WENY) – Cuomo says he will sue the state of Rhode Island if the state continues to seek out New Yorkers entering its borders. On Friday, Rhode Island police began stopping cars with New York plates.
Cuomo says “I don't believe that any federal administration could be serious about physical lockdowns on parts of states across this country."
He goes onto say if the state does not roll back on its new policy of stopping cars with New York plates, he would sue Rhode Island's governor, Gina Raimondo.
