City of Hornell Implements Temporary Curfew for Minors

HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) - The city of Hornell has implemented a curfew for people 17 years old or younger from 10:00 p.m. to 6.a.m. effective immediately. Exceptions will be made for those accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or if they are going to and from work.
The curfew was recommended by the Chief of Police in the city of Hornell after police officers observed minors congregating in groups at night. Any violation of the curfew will result in a fine not to exceed $250.
