HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WENY) – Today is National Read Across America Day. Locally, Gardner Road Elementary School in Horseheads is participating.

The school reached out to WENY News and asked us to participate in their event. WENY's Renata Stiehl and Isabel Garcia will be reading to students this morning as they start their day of learning.
