Shortbread is this week's adoptable pet with the Chemung County SPCA
CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. (WENY) – This week's adoptable pet with the Chemung County SPCA is Shortbread. She is a three-year-old kitten.
Arynn Brucie with the SPCA says Shortbread is “like all sidekicks.” She likes attention, but also likes her solitude. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, Brucie says to “look no further.” Brucie says Shortbread would probably be best with older kids as she is not a huge fan of being held or handled.
The Chemung County SPCA will be in attendance at Ally's Purse Party on February 22nd. You can increase your chances of winning the purse you want by purchasing more raffle tickets the night of the event. All raffle ticket proceeds benefit the shelter animals in Chemung County. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to purchase them.
In honor of Pet Dental Health Month, there are a handful of dental practices that will be donating $1 to the tooth fairy fund for every animal adopted this month. The four dental practices that are participating are Corning Dental Associates, Dr. Melissa L. Brown Orthodontics for Children and Adults, Addison Family Dentistry and Bellohusen Orthodontics.
