Fanboys Cafe Now Open at the Arnot Mall
HORSEHEADS, N.Y.(WENY)-- Fanboys Cafe is now officially open at the Arnot Mall after plenty of social media anticipation. The owner of the cafe told WENY News that they have had people reaching out form all over about how excited they are for this restaurant to open. The owner, 18-year-old Christian Vanschoick, compares his store to a popular sports bar, but for "geek" culture.
"This store is different because its a place where fanboys and fangirls can come hang out and watch their friends and watch favorite shows and talk about what they love too, what they love to watch and do and talk about, it's a place for people to meet and share their experiences and have a good time," Vanschoick tells WENY News.
The cafe opened at 11 a.m. Friday morning and will continue to be open every day of the week from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. except on Mondays where they will stay open until 11 p.m.
