Car accident in Corning under investigation

UPDATE (1/22/20 at 8:13 a.m.) -- New York State Police confirm to WENY News the driver involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with injuries. Police say the driver was trapped inside the vehicle that rolled onto its side. The driver has since been released.
CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) - Police are investigating a car accident in Steuben County. According to an initial scanner report, the crash happened on Spencer Hill Road in Corning around 9 this morning.
When WENY News went to the scene, our reporter could not see the crash due to the road bring blocked off. However, she saw ambulances and a tow truck. The public safety officer who was directing traffic in the area tells WENY there is heavy police duty where the accident happened.
