Two medical helicopters respond to serious crash in Erin
UPDATE 1/18/2020: One teen killed, four others injured after crash in Erin
ERIN, N.Y. (WENY) -- Two medical helicopters responded to a serious crash in Erin on Friday night.
According to initial scanner reports, around 8:45 p.m., the crash involved multiple victims.
The area near Langdon Hill Road and Staples Road was blocked off by multiple first responders for hours. First responders could be seen shining lights into the woods, and searching the area nearby.
A firefighter on-scene says the crash is under investigation by New York State Police. As of 11:15 p.m., police cars and a firetruck were still parked on Langdon Hill Road.
There's no word yet on how many people were involved in the crash, or the severity of their injuries.
