(WENY) -- Earlier this year, New York became the 13th state to allow undocumented immigrants to apply for driver's licenses. Known as the "Green Light Law," the measure is stirring some controversy in the Department of Motor Vehicles. The measure officially took effect on December 16th throughout the Empire State.
