CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- 322 students selected from 450 auditioners will make their way to Corning-Painted Post High School this weekend to participate in the local Area NYSSMA All-State Musical Festival.

The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) is the largest state affiliate of the National Association for Music Education.

The students in grades 10 through 12 represent 40 different school districts from Allegany, Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler, and Yates Counties.

Students will participate in one of four ensembles on Saturday: Mixed Chorus, Treble Chorus, Concert Band, and String Orchestra.
