BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- In less than 2 weeks after Dick's Sporting Goods announced the sale of the Field & Stream store in Big Flats, the store is now officially closed.

On Friday night, shoppers were greeted with a closure notice posted on the door (pictured above). According to the notice, the store is being worked on during the transition. According to a post on sportsmans.com, the grand opening for the new location will be October 25th.

The Big Flats Field & Stream store was one of 8 stores that were sold to Sportsman's Warehouse.
