The day is almost upon us. The first day of Fall! Temperatures will not feel like it however as we will see highs in the mid to upper 70s across the region. Also, on Sunday we may tie or even break our record high of 87, but what is causing our above average temperatures? What we have is an upper level ridge that has parked over our region and looks to remain in place. This ridge has delivered some beautiful weather with dry conditions and plenty of sunshine, but temperatures have been above average and will remain above average. 

We will get a bit of a break on Tuesday after a cold front swings through, but for the foreseeable future, temperature will remain above average which will be pitting fall like feels on hold.
