Kara Coleman is returning as the morning news anchor for Erie News Now Sunrise starting Monday, Sept. 9.

Coleman will anchor from 5 to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday alongside longtime anchor Mark Soliday.

“Mark and Kara have always been a great team together,” said Pam Forsyth, general manager of Erie News Now, in announcing the appointment. “They are THE must watch team in Erie, along with meteorologist David Wolter in the morning.”

Coleman began her broadcast career reporting at WXVT in Greenville, Mississippi then moved to New Bern, North Carolina where she anchored the morning and noon show for WCTI.

"I’m very excited to get back with the morning team," said Coleman. "Turns out, I’m an early bird!”
