Directly Behind Dorian
Tropical Storm Dorian has formed in the open Atlantic. This system will continue to move of towards the north and west over the next several days making impacts to the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, and the island of Hispaniola. The latest forecast takes this system into the Caribbean and strengthening into a Category 1 Hurricane before weakening to a tropical storm. Going further out, models are taking this system into Florida as we go into next weekend. This is important for the Twin Tier too because we will have to wait and see if a frontal system picks this storm up as it possibly makes it towards the US and delivers our region heavy rain.
