Elmira Heights man indicted for rape
ELMIRA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WENY) -- An Elmira Heights man was indicted in Chemung County Court on multiple charges after he allegedly raped a minor.
Benjamin Channell was indicted on charges of two counts of rape, four counts of criminal sex act, one count of unlawful imprisonment, and a single count of assault.
According to court documents, the minor was less than 17-years-old, and the alleged incidents happened in Elmira Heights between February and April of this year.
