Owego Apalachin Central School District budget workshop
OWEGO, N.Y. (WENY) -- Neighbors in the Owego Apalachin Central School District will be getting together to figure out the next step to fund the district for next year. Last Tuesday, the district's $47 million budget failed with a vote of 479 to 597.
The options officials will be discussing are a re-vote on the current budget, a re-vote on a revised budget, or going with a contingency budget. If officials think a re-vote would be the best option -- that would happen on June 18th.
The public budget workshop is happening on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the district offices.
