Clouds and Highs Increase

We are tracking a low pressure system that will first bring clouds to the Twin Tiers. Sunshine will start the day, but through the morning and afternoon sky will become mostly cloudy as highs rise near 47. Most of the day should stay dry, but by late day the chance for showers will move in. Overnight rain continues,, with some pockets producing heavy rainfall at times. Some areas could see anywhere from 1-2" with localized locations picking up closer to 3" of rain into Friday. Temperatures will stay mild near 42, so all precipitation should fall as rain.
