Man involved with Rochester AMBER Alert arrested, charged

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WENY) – The man who was arrested in connection with an AMBER Alert earlier this week is now facing charges.
According to Rochester ABC affiliate 13WHAM, 41-year-old Robert Gonzalez is charged with criminal sex act in the second degree, use of a child in a sexual performance and sexual abuse in the third degree.
Gonzalez was arrested Thursday and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
The AMBER Alert was triggered Monday night after police say Gonzalez abducted a 14-year-old teenager from LaSalle Street in Rochester.
They were reportedly found Tuesday in Brooklyn.
Gonzalez was also reportedly arrested on a third-degree assault warrant, but police say that charge is unrelated to the AMBER Alert.
