Elmira Police auctioning off impounded cars, motorcycles
ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- More than 40 cars and motorcycles seized or impounded by the Elmira Police Department are up for grabs by the highest bidder.
Bidding for the items started on Wednesday, and runs until August 8th.
All of the cars or motorcycles being auctioned off will be sold with a New York State salvage certificate. On Monday, July 30th, the impound lot will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to give potential buyers the chance to inspect the vehicles.
