Canton mayor facing prostitution charge

CANTON, P.A. (WENY) - The mayor of a Bradford County municipality is facing charges for allegedly patronizing a prostitute.
Canton mayor, John Vineski, is charged with patronizing a prostitute. According to court documents, police made contact with the 60-year-old and a woman at his home on November 7th.
Police say they conducted an investigation over the next several weeks concerning "serious allegations" against Vineski.
Court documents show a Canton Borough Police Office interviewed Vineski on November 22nd. In that interview, Vineski reportedly admitted to using Craigslist to pay a woman $300 for a sexual massage.
He's due back in court next month.
