WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Schuyler County man will spend a maximum of 32 years behind bars on child rape and child porn charges after being sentenced in court Thursday.
Marcel Veilleux, a 67-year-old from Odessa, pleaded guilty to charges of Rape, Criminal Sexual Act and two counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child in January.

According to the Schuyler County District Attorney's Office, Veilleux sexually abused two children over the course of two years starting when they were 7 and 9 years old. He raped and sexually abused them, documenting it in hundreds of photos found on various devices. Veilleux also threatened the children with arrest and imprisonment if they told anyone about it.
Veilleux is required to serve between 27 and 32 years behind bars for his crimes.
"This monster has lost the right to live in our community. His selfish actions require that he be removed from our community, for what is likely the rest of his life," said Jeremy Hourihan, Schuyler County Chief Assistant District Attorney.
If Veilleux does get out of prison, he will be at least 93 years old.
He was also sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision and is also required to register as a sex offender. A 33-year-long order of protection was also issued for Veilleux's victims.
