Brush fire breaks out in Big Flats

BIG FLATS, N.Y. (WENY) -- A brush fire broke out near the Elmira Corning Regional Airport in Big Flats Tuesday afternoon.

Smoke filled the air near Sing Sing Road and Kahler Road around 4 p.m.  The smoke could be seen for miles.

Multiple departments were called in to help with the blaze.
