Bradford Co. DA: Sayre man accused of sexually abusing 17 women, video evidence recovered

SAYRE, PA (WENY) -- A Bradford County man is facing more than a hundred charges after he was accused of sexually abusing 17 women over the course of several years.

According to the Bradford County DA's Office, 45-year-old Sean Hall of Sayre was arrested as a result of a months-long investigation.

Hall has been charged with:

69 counts of rape
47 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse
198 counts of indecent assault
127 counts of aggravated indecent assault
18 counts of sexual extortion
10 counts of strangulation
6 counts of unauthorized administration of intoxicant

In addition to the sex abuse charges, Hall is also accused of making meth at his Sayre home. After getting a search warrant, the DA's office said police recovered video evidence of Hall sexually assaulting the victims in question -- along with drug related evidence. Investigators spent hundreds of hours reviewing videos of the assaults, with some of videos lasting several hours.

According to the criminal complaint, Hall had multiple fake Facebook profiles to impersonate women. In total, investigators believe Hall used those profiles to contact more than 900 women -- with the purpose of luring women to sexually assault and rape them. Investigators said they believe Hall would target women who appeared to need money, clothing, housing, drugs, or someone to talk to.

Hall was arraigned Friday and sent to jail after he was denied bail.

The DA's office is urging anyone with any information regarding this case to contact the Bradford County Victim Witness Coordinator at (570) 265-1759. Any additional victims are being urged to call that number. Bradford County District Attorney Richard Wilson said, "I can promise that we will do our best to protect the identity of any callers and seek justice on their behalf."
