Pennsylvania counties are still counting both mail-in and provisional ballots. Almost every competitive race has been confidently called by analysts— including the race that decided Democrats would keep control of the Pennsylvania house (Rep Frank Burns kept his seat in a Trump leaning district).
However, in the Senate race between incumbent Democrat Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick-- Casey has yet to concede.
The AP called the race on Thursday.
McCormick has kept between a 30,000 and 40,000 vote lead over Casey since then.
Over the weekend, Pennsylvania election officials confirmed there were still around 100,000 ballots left to be counted. Some of those come from deep blue counties like Philadelphia and Allegheny.
The Casey campaign released a statement today listing all the counties with provisional ballots left to be counted. Spokesperson Maddy McDaniel said “Pennsylvanians deserve to have their voices heard, and the process of tabulating votes will continue in the coming days."
On X, Casey posted this afternoon that “Our Commonwealth ran a free and fair election, and we are still waiting on the final results."
The AP has not reversed their call.
