NEW YORK (WENY) -- New York Attorney General Leticia James announced that the Office of the Attorney General's Election Protection Hotline will be available for this year's election and during the early voting period that runs until Nov. 3, 2024.
The hotline will help guide voters with a number of issues including absentee and early mail-in ballots, as well as in-person voting concerns.
In a press release, Attorney General James stressed the right of all New Yorkers to feel safe while voting and is urging for the hotline to be used for any election-related questions or problems.
It will be open daily during early voting and on Election Day as well as the day after.
