Tompkins County Whole Health to host event for National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week

ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- Tompkins County Whole Health is hosting a free event to raise awareness about National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week.

The event is happening on Tuesday, October 22nd from 2:30 pm-5:00 pm at the ReUse Center in Downtown Ithaca.  Lead assessors from the Environmental Health division will be on hand at this event to answer questions about lead poisoning and prevention measures.  There will also be free lead testing for home items on site.
