MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Montour Falls Harvest Festival returned to the village for its 17th year Saturday.
Thousands of people and more than 100 vendors lined downtown for the family friendly celebration of the harvest season. Visitors from all over enjoyed local food and drinks, craft and art vendors, kids activities and live performances, including the Allegany River Seneca dancers, who shared native dance, music and culture with the audience.
The festival ran until 7p.m., and capped off with a fireworks display over the Shequaga Falls. Planning is already underway for next year's festival.
